Hammering metal since '07

Patrick Mannerings has spent over 20 years working as a designer blacksmith, turning a lifelong love of making into a highly skilled craft. He first got into metalwork at 15 while working with a farrier, and quickly found himself drawn to the heat, tools and hands-on nature of the forge. Today, Patrick creates bespoke, award-winning metalwork that blends traditional blacksmithing with considered design — making pieces that are practical, beautiful and built with real care.

Our workshop is based in Gosport, Hampshire. Covering areas throughout Hampshire, West Sussex and Dorset.

The metalwork here means gates, railings, hardware, and custom fabrications engineered for their environment — hand-finished to a surface that requires little to no ongoing maintenance.

What to expect

Built to hold for decades

A commission moves through four stages: site and specification review, a design proposal, fabrication and fitting.

Work ranges from functional sculpture and architectural hardware to large-scale gates. Every piece is site-specific, built to last and custom commission — nothing is stock.
